Church does not just happen on a Sunday, there are weekday activities too.

Gowth groups are a great opportunity to get to know other people better, to support and pray for one another, and to grow in the Christian faith.
Island-wide, we have a nine groups that meet weekly, including one especially for men in their 20s and 30s. Some are held during the day, others in the evening, making it very likely there will be a group to suit you!
Roughly once a month the Men’s group get together for fellowship based around outings, special events and talks given by invited speakers (who often have a remarkable story to tell).
The group is open to men from Castlehold and any in the local community who would like to come.
These friendly, informal gatherings take place every other Thursday afternoon in The Meeting Place at the back of the church building. They start at 2.00 pm and finish around 4.00 pm. There is an open invitation to everyone – and you will be made to feel very welcome.
Come when you can and stay as long as you like!
This group meets at Castlehold on Saturday mornings to pray for the church and for members of the church family;
to pray for the local community and for our world;
to pray in response to requests received;
and to give thanks for answered prayers.
