Castlehold Baptist Church

Youth at Castlehold: updated for April and May

Youth activities

With COVID-19 restrictions easing, and warmer weather, the church premises are now open for certain on-site sessions.

At present, there are two opportunities each week for all young people of secondary school age to meet together with our Youth Worker, Isaac.

Each Tuesday, there is a Bible Study group held at Castlehold from 4-5.30pm (with the option of joining via Zoom).

Each Sunday, starting on 02 May, there will be a social get-together from 12-1pm held in the church garden (weather permitting).

For more information, please contact Isaac:

Girls' Brigade

This is a Christian organisation for girls between the ages of 4 and 18. While meeting in person is not possible at present, sessions are instead held online via Zoom.

Messy Church

This is an age-appropriate way of doing church for families with primary aged-children. It’s a chance to hear Bible stories, sing, dance and get involved in craft activities, and to share a meal.

Sessions are on hold at present but will restart once it is feasible to do so.

Castlehold’s parent and toddler group is also on hold at present but will restart when possible.

It is a chance for toddlers to play and socialise together and for parents/carers to chat. Refreshments (often delicious cakes as well as healthier options) are provided.
