Castlehold Baptist Church

Sunday services

A warm welcome awaits you at our morning service.
Lively and relatively informal, the service is underpinned by a careful structure for worship and teaching. Members of the congregation play their part in song, Bible reading and prayer.

Refreshments are served in the Meeting Place after the service – a good opportunity for chatting with friends or making new ones.

Wheelchair and pushchair access to the church is via the blue side door on the right at the front of the church.

  • There is an accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities at the back of the church.
  • A hearing loop is set up in the main part of the church.

Latest updates

Sunday services start at 10:30 and everyone is welcome. Sunday school groups for primary-aged children take place during the service. For detailed information about remaining Covid-19 measures in place in the church, please click the button below.

Car parking for visitors

If you come by car to attend a Sunday service, we suggest that you use the public car park behind the church. It has entrances in both Drill Hall Road and Hearn Street, but it is very important to use only the Drill Hall Road entrance, as the church has an arrangement in place for that part of the car park. Do not buy a ticket there but instead come and speak directly to one of the Stewards (on duty at the church door) who will tell you what to do.
