Castlehold Baptist Church

Services

Sunday services

A warm welcome awaits you at our 10.30 Morning Service.
Lively and relatively informal, the service is underpinned by a careful structure for worship and teaching. Members of the congregation play their part in song, Bible reading and prayer.

Different groups for children and teenagers take place during the service.

Refreshments are served in the Meeting Place after the service – a good opportunity for chatting with friends or making new ones.

Accessibility

Wheelchair and pushchair access to the church is via the blue side door on the right at the front of the church.

The church is very welcoming to children with diverse needs. We do our best to ensure all children and young people feel welcome, included and supported.

There is an accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities at the back of the church.

A hearing loop is set up in the main part of the church.

Car parking for visitors

There is a public car park behind the church with entrances in both Drill Hall Road and Hearn Street. If you enter the car park from Drill Hall Road, you may be able to take advantage an arrangement the church has in place for leaving your car there while you attend the Sunday service. When the system is working you will not need to buy a ticket. Instead come and speak directly to one of the Stewards (on duty at the church door) who will tell you what to do. However, if when you get to the church the system is down, you will need to return to the car park to buy a ticket after all So you may prefer simply to pay to park on arrival. Your choice!
